  • 1.Sketching the Outline

We begin by studying your pet’s photos to draw their outline and capture their unique proportions and features.
This step is essential to ensure the final result is both accurate and lifelike.

  • 2.Building the Base Form

Using the sketch as a guide, we sculpt the underlying body with core wool.
This creates the foundation for a realistic shape.

  • 3.Crafting the Mouth

Details like the tongue texture and teeth are carefully sculpted.
We use polymer clay for skin parts to ensure stability and long-term preservation.

  • 4. Shaping the Ears

The ears are shaped with precision to match your pet’s personality.
Even tiny curves and folds are faithfully recreated.

  • 5. Detailing the Nose

We recreate nose textures using real-life prints.
This adds an incredibly lifelike and unique touch.

  • 6. Creating Natural-Looking Fur

Instead of laying wool flat, we use a layering technique to mimic the way fur naturally grows.
This creates a realistic, textured look—like the fur is growing out of the body.

  • 7. Sculpting the Body

We shape the full body based on your pet’s posture—sitting, lying, or standing.
From paw pads to toe fluff, no detail is overlooked.

  • 8. Final Trimming

Careful trimming defines the shape and expression of your pet.
It’s one of the most time-consuming but most important steps.

MADE BY HAND

Every Detail Begins with Care

Each portrait is shaped slowly by hand, with close attention to expression, markings, color, and character.

No two pets are the same, and no two portraits should be either.

Questions Before You Begin

What photos work best?

Choose one clear, well-lit front-facing photo. You can also upload side views to help us understand your pet’s markings, colors, and proportions.

Can you create pets other than dogs and cats?

Yes. We can create birds, rabbits, and other companions when the reference photos clearly show their features, colors, and markings.

How long does a custom portrait take?

The current production estimate is shown on the product page before you order. Custom portraits are handmade, so timing may vary by design and order volume.

Can I request changes?

One minor revision is included during the approval stage. Requests that change the original photo, pose, or portrait style may require an additional fee.

What happens after I place my order?

After checkout, we review your photos and contact you if we need a clearer reference. Your portrait then moves into the handmade production process.
